Freelance Creative Copywriter 

Type: Freelance

At Olli Ella, we design timeless products that are unlike any other. From a little wheeled trolley called the Luggy, to a house that you can hold. Olli Ella pieces bring a smile to faces and are loved through generations for their celebration of play.   

We’re searching for a skilled copywriter to join our team  two days a week.

If you’re proactive, energetic and love to have fun with creative copywriting for social media, product launches, digital advertising, and other marketing channels – we want to speak to you! 

You'll get to work on creative copywriting for socials media, new product copy, email newsletters and so much more.

Main responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with the Creative Lead on all copywriting projects
  • Create copy for e-comm and wholesale customers to a high standard including social media, newsletters, new product copy, website and more
  • Contribute to brainstorms around content marketing & product storytelling
  • Maintain a high level of creativity and sophistication across copywriting – ensure we’re always innovating 
  • Manage your time effectively and keep all projects organised  

Qualities we're looking for in this role: 

  • 2 year minimum prior experience in a similar role 

  • Self-motivated, driven, and great organisation skills 

  • Strong storyteller & copy writer

  • An individual who finds the PLAY in the everyday

  • Exceptional communication skills, high attention to detail, experience thinking strategically and creatively 

  • The ability to work autonomously, taking initiative and following through with concurrent projects

Global Marketing Manager

Type: Full Time

Olli Ella is an iconic global kid and lifestyle brand, with ethically produced, quality products that are playful and fun with a touch of nostalgia. 

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Global Brand & Product Marketing Manager to develop, manage & implement the Olli Ella brand & product marketing strategy. This will include the entire spectrum of, brand positioning, product marketing and creative direction for the rapidly growing brand trading in a multi-channel sales environment across global markets (Australia, USA, UK, Europe & Asia).  

You must thrive on building & implementing creative, market-leading communication strategies in a dynamic multi-channel sales environment. You will be expected to create & manage brand building and sales revenue generating well-budgeted marketing campaigns that deliver results & are both creatively and commercially focused. Building brand equity & delivering on sales targets in both B to C & B to B market segments.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a senior team member working with a dynamic lifestyle brand that prides itself on nurturing a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

What we require:

· Drive the delivery of the global strategic brand positioning across all sales channel & communication platforms

· Manage global & regional marketing budgets, as well as product & campaign calendar, ensure they are aligned with the master product timeline at all times

· Ensure all communications enhance Brand reputation, Brand awareness and customer engagement across both wholesale and direct to consumer sales channels

·  Lead and manage a high-performance  Marketing  team, establish clearly defined responsibilities, accountability and measurement of performance and regular feedback

·  Coordinate the delivery of all communication & promotional activities, managing inputs from all stakeholders so campaigns are planned and delivered on time & on budget

·  Manage relationships with external creative collaborators & partners to create campaigns & content initiatives across all digital & analogue touchpoints (social, search/SEO/SEM, EDM, web, advertising and affiliate marketing)

·   Manage all, PR, In-store Marketing and Digital  Communications, Social and CRM and ensure they are in line with Brand DNA

·   Develop and manage effective sales channel, customer and product performance KPI’s & market research systems to ensure that the brand continues to improve its connection with customers, competitors and the overall market for all product categories.

·  Work collaboratively with Product, Creative, Visual Merchandising, E-commerce, Shared and Retail Partners

 What you will bring:

  • Demonstrate proven results working in a similar role. Experience with developing businesses in international markets will also be expected.
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in marketing & business.
  • Be a natural leader. You take full ownership and manage effectively between directors, managers and team
  • Strategic, creative & commercial forward thinker and planner seeking marketing opportunities across a timeline 1-3 year strategy. 
  • Extensive experience leading and delivering a global lifestyle brand marketing strategy
  • Loves technology and continuously seek out emerging trends, ideas to cultivate strategies and digital activations to increase the efficiency of the marketing communication mix
  • Able to positively influence and build a high-performance Marketing team to meet objectives

Product Design Assistant

Type: Full Time

At Olli Ella, we design timeless products that are unlike any other.  Olli Ella pieces bring a smile to faces and are loved through generations for the celebration of PLAY.    

We are looking for a talented Product Design Assistant to support with the design and development across our timeless range of products including toys, homewares, apparel, and footwear.  

What's required in this role?

  • Create New Product Development design concepts from design brief and in line with branding and product guidelines
  • Work and adapt the design to existing product line to improve look, feel and functionality for ultimate fun and play
  • Work collaboratively with internal team in the design and development of product
  • Support the creation of all product trims and packaging design 
  • Draw and sketch product design with graphic design software and ensure product meets global quality compliance
  • Work closely with factory to produce and assess the quality of product samples and manage from initial sample through to production
  • Create specifications for products including dimensions and sketches

Customer Experience 2IC

Type: Full Time

We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated and engaging leader to join our Customer Happiness team as the Customer Experience 2IC.  This position works alongside the Customer Service Manager, supporting with the day-to-day running of the team. 

We take pride in the exceptional service we offer our customers and community and provide genuine care and interest to ensure they receive and are happy with the Olli Ella support.

In this role, you will hit the ground running, learning all Olli Ella products and what makes them oh so special and be the expert for the team on each product range to share with our customers.  

What we require:

  • Ensure all Olli Ella customer service base is managed and serviced pro-actively and positively across email, live chat and phone
  • Proactively monitor incoming stock, International and Express orders and any order shortfalls
  • Provide customer engagement through social media messages, groups and company pages and work with team on consistency of messaging
  • Coordinate and implement product training with team to create in-depth understanding of products
  • Full management of fortnightly roster and shift allocation for the Australian customer service team
  • Assist in the training of new and current team with the implementation of procedures and processes
